Apicoectomy (Root-End Resection)

Surgical endodontics to save damaged teeth.

When non-surgical root canal treatment is insufficient to clear infection, an apicoectomy is performed. The surgeon removes the damaged root tip and inflamed tissue, placing a small seal at the end of the root.
